Program note
A crystalline swarm rises and dissolves into a canvas corroded with lamentations. Memories, blurred, return obsessively, while violent ashes seek order in constellations. In the background, a dawn as dark as a black ocean emerges and transforms into something new that blends the funereal and the crystalline, whose relationship seems to coexist ambiguously, blurring together without resolution.
The electronic part acts as a shadow presence, sometimes amplifying the performers’ gestures, sometimes expanding the instrumental body of the entire ensemble. The electronics consist of pre-recorded sounds activated live by the pianist.
