Program note
Within the theme of “Nostalgia,” I sought to evoke an endearing memory that gradually begins to disfigure as one discovers they are living within it, leading to the emergence of disappointment. The realization of this attachment is portrayed through the performer’s slow walk toward the center of the stage—the moment they decide to abandon the memory and continue their path.
