Program note
This piece operates as a sonic anatomy of trauma, where the performer’s physiology becomes a direct conduit for the sound’s expressive urgency. Rather than a linear development, the music inhabits a space of persistent dissolution, confronting delicate, translucent webs with eruptive, abrasive densities. These collisions represent the psychic struggle to assimilate a fractured present.
The formal architecture is built upon the decay of internal echoes and the layering of visceral debris. As distant cries and structural scars intersect, they generate a landscape of residual vibrations that defy silence. By systematically dismantling any sense of fluid duration, the ensemble is transformed into a hollowed-out vessel of traces, cracks, and weathered resonances.
