Program note
Miradas… ensoñaciones emerges from a state of inner saturation—a kind of dazed deafness—where silence is not absence but dense matter. It unfolds like a slow exhalation from within a fog of emotional compression, where the pulse of memory disturbs the surface of stillness. The piece explores the tension between contraction and propagation, and containment and rupture in a narrative of cold resonances, dissolving and recalling traces of a submerged past and trauma. Moments of suspension suggest calmness, only to be interrupted by visceral energy. As the sound recedes, what remains is not a resolution, but an ambiguous sublimation—a gradual fading that questions the boundary between presence and disappearance.
Performance notes
Lighting: The scores and instruments should be illuminated to the limit of necessity with small light sources, ideally visible to the audience. It is suggested that the performance space remains as dark as possible.
